When using VAG Com & the Program.
1. Turn off wifi or go into Airplane mode on PC with software.
2. Connect the VAG Com to the OBD Port in the car.
3. Push and or turn the key all the way in without turning on the car and without pressing the breaks!
4. Connect VAG Com to PC via USB.
5. Open the Program, click options, click test.
(If it says “CAN = OK”) (Youre good to go)
6. Then Save it
7. Go to main screen and then you’re good to go! 🙂

Keep changing the #’s until it matches your estimated calculations.
Test & Save.
Before this, when my car hits 0 miles in fuel tank, I would buy a full tank of 91 & or 93. The pump has stopped every time at 14 gallons of fuel, ever since car bought. When I turn the car on I get an estimated of 320-360 fuel miles. I have been & added fuel to a 2012 A4 with the same tank & everything and a full tank displays 460miles all the time. This means my car is programed to store 2 gallons as reserve gas. So I decided to get rid of that coding, in order to get a close accurate estimated measure of the fuel I have.
